Tara Christie Kinsey received her A.B. in English from Princeton University and her Ph.D. in English from Emory University, where she specialized in modern and contemporary British and Irish literature. She is currently working on two book projects. The first, Modernism, the Metaphysical Poets, and the First World War, examines a neglected tradition of poetic engagement with John Donne and the Metaphysicals throughout the twentieth century. The second, tentatively titled, The Hedgehog, is a critical biography of the poet Paul Muldoon. Her essays appear in The Oxford Handbook of British and Irish War Poetry, The Thomas Hardy Journal, and The Recorder: The Journal of the American Irish Historical Society. She is a full-time administrator at Princeton University, where she also occasionally teaches as a Lecturer in the Department of English.
