Dr. Sarah Stang is an Assistant Professor in Brock University’s Centre for Digital Humanities. She received her PhD from the Communication & Culture program at York University and her research primarily focuses on gender representation in both digital and analog games. She is the former editor-in-chief of the game studies journal Press Start and the Secretary for the International Communication Association’s Game Studies Division. Her current research explores the intersection of gender, hybridity, and monstrosity in science fiction and fantasy games and other media.
