Rae Lyn Fox taught college English courses for 13 years before transitioning out of academia and into the role of curriculum developer for the training department of a major health care corporation. During her years as an educator, Rae taught at The University of Southern Mississippi (as a graduate teaching assistant), Armstrong Atlantic State University (now part of Georgia Southern), and Full Sail University, and she has presented at multiple state and national conferences on the topics of asynchronous learning, teaching personas in the online classroom, and the live-streamed D&D phenomenon known as Critical Role. Rae holds a BFA in Sequential Art from SCAD and an MA in Creative Writing from The University of Southern Mississippi. In addition to her work in training and education, Rae also has a background in media production and journalism, having scripted and edited PSAs and commercials for local television and written and edited articles for WTOC-TV's quarterly newspaper and other seasonal publications. When she can find the time, she writes short fiction and poetry.
