I work with the NYU Press and NYU Libraries to develop digital publishing services. I was an acquiring editor for a dozen or so years (mostly history and ethnic studies) at the University of California Press. When I wanted to learn more about digital means of sharing knowledge, and realized how much libraries were doing about that, I got an MSLS at the University of North Carolina. I'm now smack in the middle of these two professional cultures, and working as well with information technologists and scholars.
