Kathleen Bachynski is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Medicine at NYU Langone Health. She holds a PhD in sociomedical sciences from Columbia University and an MPH in epidemiology from the University of Michigan's School of Public Health. She has published on sports safety in New England Journal of Medicine, Injury Prevention, Neurology, American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Law, Medicine and Ethics, and Journal of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences. She is completing a book with the University of North Carolina Press on the history of youth football safety debates.
