Dr Dongjoon Lee is an independent researcher and lecturer at the Department of Culture Techno of Changwon National University. Also, Lee has taught popular culture studies and design management at the graduate school of Art & Culture management of Hongik University. Previously, he worked as a legal specialist in the popular culture industry division at the ministry of culture and tourism. He holds PhD in creative industries at the Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies, the University of Warwick. His thesis focuses on the strategic organisational change and artist-leadership in the creative industries in the Korean pop music (K-pop) context.
